The website encompasses the Darton College Dance Department, the Darton College Dance Company, and the Darton College Dancing Cavaliers. Darton College has the only AA degree in Dance in the state of Georgia. Their program has a comprehensive dance major with courses in technique, history, production, choreography and performance. They have multiple performances through out the year where they showcase the student talent.
What we had to do
Recognizing the importance of visuals, this site for the Darton College Dance Department is set up to highlight embedded videos of some of the featured shows the department puts on for the public. With a sense for edgy design and art, the headers have a rugged industrial black look to it as well. The importance in marketing and advertising is there with the News column on the left, emphasizing the art and professionalism, especially the convenient and slick slideshow with some of the most professional photos of the dance group taken during several performances. Events are clearly listed on the right for customers looking for a good show.
