The War Eagle Reader is basically a blog about Auburn, Alabama, a blog about the University there, a blog about that University’s football team, etc. You will here find a vast array of Auburn-specific sentiment, including content celebrating Auburn’s history and news of Auburn’s present. Deep news, deep issues … naked, fervent flames of Auburn phenomenology. Who knows what will happen!
What we had to do
Done in a news story format, the War Eagle Reader had their site done with a conglomeration of panels much like a periodical, complete with copious inclusions of pictures to intensify the reading. The emphasis was not on navigation per se, rather information. It’s all there right in front of you, not hiding behind any links. With the inclusion of a Twitter bar, customer relations and communication is heightened even more. The standard link bar at the top is necessary, of course, but we for sure wanted to put the latest featured information out there for the reader.
